Take the IVOMEC Challenge. Buy IVOMEC EPRINEX® (eprinomectin), IVOMEC Plus (ivermectin/clorsulon), IVOMEC (ivermectin) Pour-On or IVOMEC 1% Injection between February 1, 2008, and May 31, 2008, and treat your cows and calves this spring with it. If the improved average weaning weight does not cover the purchase price of the IVOMEC Brand Product used in the spring of 2008, Merial will provide an equal amount of doses of any IVOMEC Brand Product for fall 2008. Comparisons are made on 205-day adjusted weaning weights, assuming the same average birth dates for both years and the same average birth weight; and are calculated by the value based on 2008 calf prices.
Prove it to yourself. To accept the Challenge, complete the following steps:
1. Treat all your cows and calves with any IVOMEC Brand Product this spring.
2. This fall, calculate the market price of the weaning weight difference for steers and heifers between 2008 and 2007.
3. Add the value of the additional steer weaning weight to the value of the additional heifer weaning weight and compare with the purchase price of the IVOMEC Brand Product.
4. If the value of the additional weight is less than the purchase price of the IVOMEC Brand Product, Merial will provide, without charge, enough of your preferred IVOMEC Brand Product to treat the Challenge-participating cows in fall 2008.
